Know what it means to be endowed with God’s freedom.
There is nothing so misunderstood as freedom. Everyone thinks that being free is having the right to do what you want, regardless of the consequences that may arise from insane acts. It’s okay that ordinary people think so. The god of these people is the womb, Paul said. For us, who are God’s People need to understand clearly what perfect freedom is.
Speaking of freedom, the Apostle affirmed that the Lord is spirit, and is manifested in the acts and thoughts of believers, whether Christians or Jews. Therefore, it is up to us who walk in the footsteps of Christ to watch over our conduct, so we will not be surprised when that day comes. Which day? The one of judgment, who will come as a thief, without anyone expecting him.
It is not possible for those who chose the Lord to have the same freedom as ordinary people. They have no commitment to Scripture, no fear of the Lord, no understanding of promises. We, the children of the Lord, are different. We have hope in God because we were generated when He gave birth to the universe. Our name is in the Book of Life and for this reason the figure of Christ impresses us so strongly. He came to meet us, to save and to glorify us. Jesus came to the lost sheep of the House of Israel, souls scattered throughout the world, who needed to be found before the end of all things came. Let us trust in the Lord, who has saved us from the lies of the devil. who brought us out of darkness into everlasting light; who gave us understanding of the mysteries of the invisible life. We are eternal, and we need to live as gods among of a generation corrupted by lies, prostitution, pride, and all the ills of materialism.
Paul also said that where the spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. It means that God is perfect freedom, that is, we will be free if we observe the larger law, confirmed in the biblical passages: to love God and neighbor. On this commandment depend the laws and the prophets. Whoever steals does not love. Those who commit adultery do not love. Who kills, does not love. Who is jealous, does not love. Who lies does not love. Whoever puts God in second place does not love. To obey God is to live the law of love, revealed to Jews and Christians. We need to understand with mind and heart the scope of a life in love.
Happiness depends on your love for God and your neighbor. The world is full of sick souls who love only themselves. The churches are full of believers concerned with themselves and their own happiness. All this is the lying work of the evil one. Pastors should teach that there is no life without love. Man need not like themselves. From birth it does nothing else. We need to be concerned about our neighbor and the happiness that we, as children of the Most High, can bring to those around us. Do good to others and find the way to true happiness. With Christ you will be free from the evils of this world forever. Amen!
